Sean F. Hagen

Sean F. Hagen, P.E

President & Managing Director

Mr. Hagen is an executive leader in technical management consulting in the global electric power generation and transmission industry, focusing on energy consulting and risk mitigation.

Mr. Hagen has consistently demonstrated his leadership versatility and ability to integrate high-level management and engineering expertise in different environments by building and leading multi-functional teams that achieve organizational objectives on time and under budget in a wide array of global power projects. He is able to translate complex technical and cost issues into clear concepts and actions that enable client executives and project teams to optimize project execution plans based on a common and holistic understanding of scope, schedule, budgets, and risks.

Hagen formed Hagen Global Consulting LLC in 2017 to support clients successfully achieve their strategic enterprise and mega-project objectives. Hagen Global seeks to be the inspirational leader in global energy consulting, accelerating client achievement of enterprise and project goals. In 2018, Hagen & his colleagues recognized a need for education designed for both technically and non-technically trained personnel about how energy and the electric power grid works.

As a founding Director of the Institute of Global Energy Education, Hagen envisioned a 501(c)(3) non-profitcorporation that aspires to be the premier energy education partner in North America, with a global Mission to empower energy education for all.
